Our Hayward Fire family continues to mourn the loss of Firefighter/Paramedic Travis Foster.
Travis leaves behind his wife, Jenifer, and their two young children, John and Scarlett. A fund has been established to help support his family during this incredibly difficult time.
We are asking our fire service family, community, friends, and supporters to rally around the Foster family. Any contribution, regardless of amount, is greatly appreciated.

Hayward Firefighters Local 1909 mourns the loss of our Brother, Firefighter Paramedic Travis Foster.
Travis served the Hayward community since February 2018 and was a deeply valued member of our department and Local 1909.
After struggling with PTSD and the cumulative impacts of his service, Travis took his own life. His death is being recognized as a line-of-duty death.
He leaves behind his wife Jenifer, his son John, his daughter Scarlett, and a family and fire service community that loved him deeply.
Our hearts are with the Foster family during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest easy, Brother. Weβll take it from here.
